General updates

- Please also nominate candidates!
- Panama Gathering working group is drafting core skeleton schedule for the week.
- Preparing for move from phase 1 to phase 2 of Collaborative Development grant.
Agenda item 1 - Transition to new 2022-2023 Community Council
- We proposed timelines for when newly elected members will be able to meet with outgoing members. Details to be confirmed with those who couldn’t attend the meeting today.
- We proposed recording a discussion where we reflect on what we did 2021-2022 and priorities for 2022-2023. We hope to share this with everyone before the 2022 voting starts on 2022-06-24.
Agenda item 2 - Gathering a wishlist for future funding
- The Sloan foundation might be happy to provide further funding beyond this year, but we should present some ideas to them.
- We hope to start a listening process to gather input from the community. This needs to be done by 2022-09.
- One possibility is for the 2022 Gathering in Panama to allow awardees from this year to present, and plant seeds for some new ideas to be funded 2022-2023.
