WHO report on innovative health technologies for low-resource settings

The WHO has just published a report on " innovative health technologies for low-resource settings".

First of all I am delighted the OpenFlexure is in the centre of the front cover:


and they have 3 pages of information on the microscope too. Thank you to everyone in the GOSH community who has been part of OpenFlexure over the years!

Also It is very good to see the WHO specifically grading projects on openness, local production, and Technology transferability. In the report they use this scale:

I think it is a huge step forward for Open Source Hardware in general that organisations like the WHO are scoring new technology down for not being open source.

This is wonderful news, and seems to be one of the highest profile mentions of an open source hardware and GOSH-related project.
