Share your GOSH Story!

As many of you know, 2026 marks ten years since the first Gathering. To celebrate, we plan on taking the whole year to collect and share stories from across the community - how people first found GOSH, what they’ve worked on, what they’ve learned, and how the community has supported and advanced their work.

To support that, I’ve created this GOSH@10 Forum category, which will serve as a place to share updates, reflections, links to published stories, and ongoing discussion throughout the anniversary year. It’s also where we’ll be posting information related to the GOSH@10 Story Collection Initiative, which is now underway.

The GOSH@10 Story Collection Initiative is designed to help gather community stories in three different ways:

  • One-on-one interviews
I’ll be conducting a small number of hour-long conversations with community members who are interested in sitting down for a chat. If you’d like to take part in an interview, or want to ask questions about what that would involve, feel free to contact me directly.

  • Written reflections
If you’d prefer to contribute in writing, you can share your story through * this short, online form. Responses are anonymous by default, with the option to identify yourself if you’d like.

  • Short social media videos
You’re also welcome to record a short video responding to any of the prompts included here - for example, how you came to GOSH, a moment that stands out over the years, or what you hope the community will continue to strive toward. Post to your own BlueSky or Instagram account, mention or tag GOSH, and use the hashtag #GOSH10.

Story collection will be guided by this protocol. Stories shared through this initiative will circulate across community channels over the course of the year, often alongside one another in the newsletter, here on the Forum, via social media, on the OSHF blog, and in connection with other anniversary-year activities. This Forum category is also a place to join the conversation about how these stories take shape over time.

If GOSH has played any role in your work, your thinking, or your sense of what’s possible, we hope you’ll consider sharing your story.
