Open Hardware Licences on GitLab

Hi Everyone

I thought one way to raise the profile of Open Hardware is if platforms like GitLab and GitHub have hardware licenses listed as license templates. I have opened an issue on GitLab for them to do this, from my experience issues get taken more seriously if they have more :+1:'s.

The issue is here if you want to support it

I am not sure if it is possible to make a similar request to GitHub?

This issue has had enough attention to be tagged by the GitLabBot as a “Potential Proposal”. This is a start, we probably require a fair bit more noise before we get some more traction.
