Is there GOSH on Mastodon / the Fediverse for those of us whose communities are more active there?
GBIF have recently been very active, setting up and maintaining a biodiversity.social instance
There’s mechanisms for bridging across from Bsky if you don’t want to keep posting to both
there might be a gosh mastodon, but if not, you can make one!
Does anyone i gave access to the GOSH bluesky have access to it?
did you ever have access to the gosh-community@bsky.social bluesky? i set it up, but somehow do not have the password, nor the email that was used to sign up for it?
I honestly don’t know how i created it anymore!
Thanks so much for the initiative in setting this up originally – it’s been great to see interest in keeping the GOSH voice active on BlueSky! Given that the login details for that account are no longer accessible, this seems like a natural moment to transition things a bit.
To make sure GOSH’s communication channels are coordinated going forward, I’ll go ahead and set up a new official BlueSky account managed by the GOSH team. That way, we can ensure continuity and integrate it with our broader communications strategy. I’ll share the new handle here as soon as it’s live!

@jamaica Something to keep in mind with Bluesky is that you can use your own domain as your username/handle:
So if you have access to the domain registrar account, you should be able to set up @openhardware.science as the username!
Thank you @gerrit! I followed the instructions but they did not work for me. I’ll coordinate with the sysadmin team to see if we can’t get it to work. In the meantime, the GOSH BlueSky handle is goshcommunity.bluesky.social.
