Just discovered that there is something called “Hardware Freedom Day”:
The next one is April 19th 2025, and is organised by the Digital Freedom Foundation.
Anyone from GOSH and/or OSHWA knows about this? Maybe something to be a part of?

Apparently it has been going since 2013, there is a wikipedia page for it. To be honest I can’t really find much evidence of anything that happens on the day.
The website for the whole “Digital Freedom Foundation” has a feeling that it is not a thriving entity. It is of course hard to know if that is true, of if just thee website isn’t keeping up with other activities.

Classic! I think, i was participating at the hardware freedom day in Bangalore waaaayyy back. Which then inspired my and some friends to announce the “official” Wurstware Freedom Day…
