What are the basic handling guidelines for reference standards prescribed by ICH Q7?
Welcome to the GOSH forum. This is an interesting question, I wonder if you could provide a bit more information about what exactly you are asking and give some context. I am not sure if we have the expertise in GOSH to answer, but a few more details may help start getting the conversation going.
Julian, Thank you for the warm welcome.
As reference standards, are very sensitive chemicals that must be handled with extreme care. It can not only create a negative impact on testing results but also the handler’s health. So I am wondering if someone could help me with handling guidelines or at least give me a good starting point.
I guess its you lucky day
Just found out a source that explains sections 11.17, 11.18, 11.19 of ICH Q7. As per my understanding these guidelines are about keeping record and to be organized while handling these materials. For further details read handling guidelines for primary and secondary reference standards. I hope this will help.
Junal, I have to give credit where it’s due. Thanks for sharing this source.
