Update for 16 July 2024:
Thanks to those who joined the online call today about the draft Constitution. We’ve made some final tweaks to the text and it’s almost ready to go to the upcoming referendum. Quick summary of primary changes:
- Updated language around the GOSH Community Coordinator to avoid a constitutional crisis if the position is vacant.
- Slightly updated the referendum voting and passing thresholds.
- Stated that the Community Council shall pursue funding opportunities.
- All Operational Documents now have links to the relevant forum threads.
@julianstirling During the meeting today our overall conclusion was to punt some issues for future generations to decide, i.e. ones where we don’t think they will be immediately catastrophic for GOSH. Part of it is that we don’t currently have language to give the Community Council to co-opt a person to fill seats. Do you have any additional thoughts or can you live with this?? 
The text of this draft Constitution will be “frozen” on 18 July 2024, after which everyone is encourage to VOTE on it!!!
