DIT incubator for Bacté-Rivières

We have made 5 more incubators following the design from Harald Tay, back from the epoch of the Panama GOSH, 3 with the old ceramic tile design, and two with a new 3D printed basis, for our water quality project, Bacté-Rivières, which finally is focusing upon river water quality (which we only used as our positive control before this sampling season).

The above comes from a prezi talking about it all, and shows both the original one made by Harald and one of our 3D printed version from this year at the bottom. We were lucky to get support, allowing us to get the special R-Cards again, as also used in Panama, from the Réseau Romande Science et Cité for the project.

We are already learning more about how even our Swiss rivers can become very polluted. (This week is the 6th of 8 weeks of sampling…) Teams from Nyon to Vevey have the little card incubators for their cards.

The final workshop of the project is set for 30 September. =)
