These are billed as being global gatherings to discuss how to handle quality assurance when products are being made via distributed manufacturing.
This is a little bit adjacent to GOSH’s mission but still relevant, and I saw that @julianstirling is in the speaker lineup. I’m guessing that he will be giving some insight from the perspective of OpenFlexure.

Thank you @jmwright! Well spotted. Here’s a full post about the webinars this week:
Register now to reflect on the future… particularly for the makers in GOSH! Manufacturing is democratizing - anyone, anywhere can make almost anything. Quality Management is struggling to keep up, and it’s a huge barrier to the business models of makers, makerspaces and local manufacturing. It is still focused on centralised regulation, repeatable processes and mass production.
Join me and Victoria Jaqua as we host two webinars to share ideas, innovations and approaches to managing quality in the emerging paradigm of democratised, distributed production:
3rd December 2pm GMT (Europe, America, Asia)
or
4th December 11am PST (Americas, Pacific)
Thanks to our partners at Public Invention and the Global Open Source Quality Assurance System (GOSQAS) and all our speakers - including, as Jeremy says, Julian Stirling.
Thanks,
Andrew

Thanks @andrewlamb will these webinars be recorded so that they can be watched later?
They will be yes, and we might have similar events in the future as we have more speakers than we’ve been able to accommodate in the time available.
