It’s only a few weeks ago,… but feels like a lifetime! Thx, @Harold (SG) @Weiweiweiwear (TW)@saadcaffeine (SG) and @surya (NP) , a member from Karkhana our partner for next GOSH, who happens to study in Bangkok. Thx for connecting. And thanks to @mariob for having us there!
We had a great time together at FOSSasia, presenting the upcoming GOSH in Nepal, and also representing many cool projects from our larger community. It was interesting how much super positive responses we got from many many other participants at the summit. I guess because of most FOSS people in the end software geeks, they were so happy to see “stuff” aka hardware projects. Also we had such a huge variety of projects on our our tables, almost a brain-input overflow, that attracted many people to our booth.
Especially, we made great new and old connections to various hacker and FOSS networks in India, who will help us to reach out on the subcontinent, and beyond. As it happens, IndiaFOSS will happen in Bengaluru (26th - 27th September 2026) just the week before our GOSH, and gives the opportunity for our intercontinental guests to go other amazing events nearby (they expecting around 3 thousand people, and also a lot of surrounding programme the days / weeks before).
We distributed all of our flyers very very fast…. some of the talks were amazing! (i heard, as i mostly sticked around our table and mingled and networked). The talks will be released soon!
Personally, I was also honored that our globally connected ultra low cost and open source painting robot got featured in the FreeCAD blog….
