Iād like to offer my assistance. Last year, I hosted an Open Hardware TinyML workshop with support from Seeed Studio. I didnāt apply for anything this year, so Iām happy to help at the stall if you need me.
Iāve requested a table. We can re-use the banners from last year, I have a bunch of stickers as well. I can bring along an openFlexure device along with a centriDrive. Other device contributions for the exhibition table are welcome, send them over to me in Singapore. If theyāre 3D printable point me to the STLs Iāll print them and take them along with me.
Anyone have GOSH or OpenScience designs to contribute for stickers please reply here or drop me a message, Iāll have them printed for distribution at the event. Weāll be doing awareness and outreach, inviting people to join / contribute to our forum.
I think it will be great to have a GOSH community booth there, especially with the outlook for our upcoming 10 Years GOSH event in Indonesia!
I will submit somthing to let us go through the official Call for Proposal.
Who else wants to join?
At the moment i am still trying to reschedule a Workshop back in Zurich, but otherwise i will be in the region for the coming 8 weeks, Indonesia first, then Thailand (mostly Chiang Mai) whole of February.
Iāll be there, iāve requested a Community Exhibition table for my tech for good initiative (SalvageGarden) showing co-created assistive devices, BrailleRAP remains an active project but planning to show more 3d printable objects for this year. Iām of course happy to support the GOSH table I will bring along the banners but the x-frame stands often fail to make it through airline baggage handling.
I submitted for a community booth. But I will need some help for being present there over the course of the event. Would be great to have some people from Southeast Asia helping me out!
I am still not 100% sure if I can make it myself, need to rearrange a workshop planned in Zurich, working on itā¦.
And YES, weāll announce the details for GOSH 2026 anytime soon, itās gonna be October. Stay tunedā¦
Itās confirmed that we have our community Booth af FOSSasia summit!
Really looking forward, cos I always felt our community is abit underrepresented in Southeast Asia (except Singapore). So this will give us great opportunity to connect to other active open source enthusiasts in the region.
We already put together a cool team for our booth, @Harold from Singapore (and @saadcaffeine hopefully with a booth next to us), @Weiweiweiwear from Taipei, @surya from our friends at Karkhana, Nepal (lives in BKK these days).
CALL for GOSH merch
So dear larger GOSHers, please send me some merch, flyers, .stl files (i have a 3d printer here), PCBs (i will place an order anyway, but be fast), zines, and logos / stickers! I can print stuff next week in Chiang Mai.
I can also make kinda āmock-upsā for some of our hardware projects to fill up the table with stuff.
