Chevron and the Fab Foundation seek four candidates to serve as Chevron FAB STEM Fellows.
The one-year commitment is designed to implement equitable, impactful, and innovative STEM and digital fabrication teaching practices and programs across the globe.
Each selected Fellow will be awarded a $10,000 stipend to cover travel expenses (flights,
accommodations and per diem) to visit two fab labs within the global community.
Participation as a Chevron FAB STEM Fellow is a unique opportunity to create learnings that incorporate diverse perspectives, disciplines, and concepts to spark innovation and creativity with other innovative educators. Each selected Fellow will create a STEM lesson that will be featured on the Fab Foundation’s SCOPES-DF website (https://www.scopesdf.org/), share learnings through multiple communication platforms, such as podcasts, online blogs, and through talks and presentations at conferences and educational events throughout the coming year.
Eligibility requirements
Anyone who engages in teaching digital fabrication and STEM skills for K-12 aged youth, in formal or informal educational settings (which include schools, fab labs, makerspaces, museums, after school programs, or NGOs).
