I’m writing with a quick update on the election results.
Our wonderful independent observer Ankita (@sudokita) and I have tabulated the votes, and we are now reviewing those results with the Governance Working Group. It took a little longer than we anticipated to get to this point, but we are very gratified by what we consider to be a successful election process.
As a next step, we will notify each candidate individually of the outcomes before making a full public announcement. We plan to have all of this done in the next 24 hours.
In terms of actual election participation, we had 58 registered voters, and 45 votes were cast between May 21st and May 31st. The STAR voting platform performed well and made it very straightforward to interpret the results.
