TATuP Call for Special Topic Editors & CfA

The Journal for Technology Assessment in Theory and Practice (TATuP) is the bilingual journal of the Institute for Systems Analysis and Technology Assessment (ITAS) at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) in Germany.

Although niche, it often serves as starting point of groundbreaking debates on technology policy and technology assessment. And it’s Diamond Open Access (no fees for anyone and open right after publishing)!

Right now, they are looking for proposals of Special Topics and editors (see Call)! As the institute published some papers on Open-Source Hardware in the last years, it might be an interesting chance to give the TA and STS community an incentive to reflect on Open-Source/Science Hardware.

Although I’d highly emphasize applicating for Special Topics, there is also a pending Call for Abstracts for the upcoming issue “Assessing the (de)construction of technological hypes” (until Feb 3rd).
