What brings us all together in our GOSH community is also a shared enthusiasm about STUFF. I mean: samples, things, unique materials, fanzines, fun fun (STUFF).
We have a public demo session in our schedule on the second day of our gathering (aswell as throughout GOSH) . So all of you who come in-person to Kathmandu, stuff your luggage with STUFF to show, exchange, share, experiment together, build, break, open it up, hack-it.
Also bring your tools needed to explore your projects. Some of us will provide basic hacking / making tools to the site too.
Hardware is the most easy to understand, while touching it and opening it up.
So, i’m already in Kathmandu. I bring a full functional BrailleRAP XL for some demos / experiments or anything of interest.
I also bring a full BrailleSPK kit. If we can replicate it, we will go to apply for an OSHWA open hardware certification.
With @saadcaffeine we already have 3 Lora Meshstatic nodes, i would love to experiment in Kathmandu as it could be a solution for environnement monitoring / alert system.
And, thanks to @saadcaffeine who help a lot to find some parts in Singapore, we have a BrailleRAP kit we can build and test.
I’m not use to GOSH gathering, so maybe this post is not at the right place. I’m happy to continue the discussion anywhere.
Oh my this is brilliant ! i have been wanting to work with Braille for projects on inclusiveness so I hope we can meet/chat ! Would It be possible to make a print ? Exciting !
