@gbathree pointed me here: I don’t do any structural equation modeling regularly so would hesitate to make any super strong recommendations. Also, picking a tool/package typically depends on what you are actually interested in modeling. That said, I’d start by looking at the R package OpenMX (https://openmx.ssri.psu.edu/), with github here: https://github.com/OpenMx/OpenMx). I wouldn’t be surprised if there’s some python integration/support for it too.
