Neat opportunity!

This isn’t on your dates, but we might come to Shenzhen mid-May and could possibly do an abbreviated workshop or something with you all. Let me know if you are interested in trying to work something out:)

Hi @Yuli! Thanks so much for sharing this excellent opportunity. Would it be okay for me to feature it in April’s GOSH Newsletter?

Hey there, Thomas here. I’m a Biotech Engineer based in Vienna.

Curious how funding for materials would work, and how strict China is about Genetic Engineering projects outside of registered labs. There are lots of cool protocols you could do over the course of a week or two!

Hmmmm interesting question!

I guess depends on specific projects?? Do you have a clear Idea what precisely you would like to do?
Please send me an email and I will ask my contact person in Tsinghua and also related expert on this.

Thank you!

Hi @Yuli!

I’m Pablo, from Argentina. Last year, I ran a two-week workshop on Open Science Hardware at my Faculty. It was structured in three parts:

  1. Introduction to 3D printing and design using OpenSCAD
  2. Introduction to electronics for open science hardware
  3. Open Science Hardware principles and applications

The workshop was designed for undergraduate students in physics, chemistry, and biology. I have the full program for all three modules, along with the supplementary materials.

Would this be a good fit?
