The OpenUK Open Hardware track I mentioned will be at their annual
conference “State of Open Con”, held in London on February 6-7, 2024.
The CFP is open now, but closes on December 1 (this Friday):
OpenUK is actively advocating with the UK government to help them better
understand open source and open hardware, and has been getting a
promising response, along the lines of “clearly the UK needs to do
better than the EU’s Cyber Resilience Act”. So, depending on the
submissions we get, the event could end up being a showcase of the broad
variety of successful open hardware in the world, and the policies we
need from governments to support healthy open hardware projects.
