Hi! I’m part of a project to develop open source versions of neuromodulation implants to help researchers develop new therapies without having to beg larger companies for hardware or spend $xx million themselves. I believe we’re pretty unique in that we’re trying to make open source devices that can go inside humans, so that researchers can go from animal to human study without needing new devices. If there’s anyone else here working on open source medical devices I’d love to connect and see if I can learn anything. Or, if anyone knows people in the neuromodulation space tell them to reach out, we’d love to get more users on board!
