Dear GOSHers,
Open Environmental Data Project is beginning our search for the next Executive Director. Since 2020, OEDP has built spaces to grow the global conversation on environmental data access and use. We’ve researched policy landscapes, built interdisciplinary networks, piloted new data stewardship models, and created narrative initiatives that envision alternative futures.
We’re excited to see how this work can continue and the new directions and possibilities that emerge under the guidance of our next Executive Director. The Executive Director will lead a programmatic team focused on identifying 1) where existing datasets need to be translated into more usable formats, 2) the processes, decision-making principles, and tools that can support the application of data in environmental justice and governance, and 3) opportunities for environmental and data governance systems redesign.
To learn more about this position, please visit our website. This is a fully remote position and we’re accepting applications through May 25th.

Happy to answer any questions you might have.
With gratitude,
Shannon
