Hey everyone, recently found out about Homebrew Bio. Manual (twitter), a bio founder in Austin, Texas, is trying to start his own online science community in a similar spirit to ours called Homebrew Bio, supporting newcomers and project collaboration. He’s running a Discord chat room and there’s currently a project contest with several prizes. Judges will be Sebastian Cocioba (twitter) and Niko McCarty (Codon, twitter). Deadline appears to be early December.
If anyone is interested, feel free to check it out. I reached out to Manual and the contest is open anyone, including those outside the US. I told him about GOSH and we might see him come here to our forum.
