GOSH Community Coordinator

Contract Length: 50% FTE (20 h/week), fixed term, six-month contract
Location: Remote. This position is time zone flexible and community-facing so some weekend and evening work is expected regardless of location.
Contract Value: $17,250
Deadline for applications: 31 Jan 2025

The Gathering for Open Science Hardware (GOSH) community supports open hardware for scientific research and education by convening a global community of hundreds of people including scientists, developers, artists, educators and makers. The GOSH Community Coordinator will work with the GOSH Community Council and the wider community to support them in organising events and activities such as community calls, global GOSH meetings and more. They will play a key role in supporting the GOSH Community to reach new audiences via our newsletter, social media and other communication channels, as well as ensuring that the GOSH forum provides an enriching and dynamic environment for exchange and community building. They will support the GOSH Ambassadors Programme Working Group to scale its activity and impact.
