Hello everyone,
As you have likely noticed from the recent flurry of posts here, planning for the 2026 Gathering has been quite busy over the past several weeks, with the Working Group working daily to fundraise, plan the program, and ensure that the Gathering is well and equitably attended by the broadest representation of GOSHers as possible.
As things continue to pick up in the coming weeks and months, we are anticipating a need for more help. I am therefore inviting everyone who has the time and inclination to please join the Gathering Working Group (GWG).
Joining the GWG does not require a specific contribution of time. We ask only that you do what you can and that, where possible, you:
- attend one-hour biweekly planning meetings with Karkhana Samuha (the local host)
- contribute and respond within group communications channels (including a dedicated WhatsApp community); and
- contribute to at least one activity area.
Current activity areas include fundraising, logistics coordination, program development, and communications and outreach. We would be particularly grateful for support around communications, event planning, and fundraising.
