Hi Juan Pedro,

The Safecast map is built on the Ushihidi platform. It’s an anonymous crowd sourced testing access map where people are reporting their ability (or not) to get tested for COVID-19. It’s not a symptoms map and we do not require information on the results. It’s more to reveal test accessibility and availability on demand. Before launch we had many discussions on what the map would cover and what the implications of COVID-19 self reporting could be. I’d be happy to share some of that thinking and anything else we’ve learned for Corotrac. We also have a pretty active slack discussion on mapping if you’d like to join let me know.
