Hi All
User research is on-going for improvements to the GOSH website as outlined in the Request for Proposals for GOSH Community Website and Forum Development that was developed through a series of online community meetings and via the forum. There should be a proposal for community review soon!
In the meantime, there are some pieces of content which were highlighted in GOSH event sessions and in the Roadmap as important parts of supporting and growing the community, such as on-boarding guides for new community members.
Would anyone be interested to help figure out what materials are needed and design/draft them? The Sloan Foundation funding awarded to the GOSH nonprofit can support some graphic design, video editing, translation and other ways to make the content more accessible for different audiences, once we compile a priority list and some initial content.
If you know of communities that already do this very well and could supply examples, that would be great. One I know of is Just One Giant Lab who produced a video and google doc for their Open COVID Initiative:
Below is the list of on-boarding materials for GOSH that already came out of the website/forum exercise, all other ideas are very welcome!
