Hello!
I’m meeting with some folks from Ontario Genomics in a few weeks to deliver a prospectus to find funding for a small conference/ potentially joining up with a syn-bio conference in Canada on how OSH (open science hardware) can improve R&D pipelines by providing accessible tools for research to smaller companies.
Topics to be covered will be:
- Strategies to get OSH tools published in studies to help with validation.
- How OSH have helped companies succeed with R&D.
- What hardware is needed for certain R&D pipelines and how can we make them readily available.
If you’re interested in helping out, want to add a case study to the prospectus, or want to just touch base and be involved later… send me a message! You can be as hands-on/ hands-off as you want to be.
I’m looking for funding to fly people in, but if you’re already based in the North American continent, it would help a lot!
Also!
If and when this happens, I won’t be acting as a mouthpiece for OSH, but I will be looking for OSH producers/ researchers who want to lead discussions/ panels during these events.
