I’m excited to share with you that a special collection on COVID-19 and open hardware responses, has been launched.
COVID-19 has resulted in hundreds of designs for personal protective equipment (PPE), ventilators, and more by groups around the world, being manufactured by thousands of individuals, community centers, and small and large corporations. The Journal of Open Hardware special collection focuses on open-source response to the pandemic, gathering research describing technical advances through the Hardware Metapapers format but also analyzing the situation from a range of perspectives, including historical, legal, and social.
