Douglas Esteves (@estevesdouglas) is currently doing a master’s degree at UNICAMP University in Brazil and is researching Makerspaces and implementing STEAM activities in public schools.
2022 Digital Naturalism Conference (presented by @hikinghack): Dinacon is an experimental unconference exploring new ways for people to interact with nature. For Dinacon 2022, we partnered with the amazing folks at Dreamspace Academy in Batticaloa Sri Lanka. 50+ international participants joined with the 100+ Dreamspacers to collaborate on a variety of projects spanning art, design, field biology, and engineering. Themes cover topics like camera trapping, marine biology, plastic upcycling, soft robotics, wireless sensing, outdoor makerspaces, and more! And of course all the projects are Open Source! All the data will be published soon in a freely available book of proceedings, but for now people can see all the past projects from previous dinacons at https://www.dinacon.org/book/
