I’m not involved in this, so I can’t answer questions :slight_smile:

Astera’s Open Science Fellowship program is seeking visionary builders developing new tools for openly sharing scientific knowledge. Selected Fellows will be employed full-time by Astera and, in addition to a salary, will receive up to $350,000 in support of their projects.

We’re looking for entrepreneurial scientists, product designers, and software engineers passionate about advancing open science and accelerating scientific progress.

Applications are due December 31, 2024.

They got lots of money and this looks super cool to have all that money going towards open science in some way!

But just for everyone to know, i think i emailed them last year and asked more about what they are interested in, and it seems very focused on building platforms around publishing and sharing (not like making tools for experiments). FYI
