Dear GOSH Community,
I am excited to share a quick update with you regarding the location of the next Gathering!
The Gathering Working Group has spent the last few weeks working together to select the host for the next Gathering. After a diligent and intentional review process, in which we spoke with potential hosts from 6 countries, we are excited to announce that we are partnering with Fab Lab Bali to host the next Gathering in Bali, Indonesia!
Thank you to everyone who expressed interest in hosting the next event. We cannot wait to consider these locations again in future rounds! Ultimately, we based our selection on a list of essential criteria, including the ease of acquiring visas, LGBTQ+ safety, and the level of involvement from host communities.
We are currently working with our location partner to finalize the format and scale of the event and to confirm the date, which will likely take place sometime between April and June of 2025.
