Fabricio Cano, @nanocastro and I have been testing a protocol to measure active carbon in soil using low cost colorimeters, and we got excellent results! Recently @Jorodeo posted on the IORodeo blog a summary of our work we would like to share with you.
Most of our work focused on determining the confidence interval of this technique. Our results show that the error in POXC measurement with a low cost colorimeter is around 15%.
