My background is in software development, but over the past 8 years or so I have transitioned to open community and education projects. e.g. Los Angeles Makerspace, Represent.LA, etc. I have a company that sells STEAM kits and environmental monitoring kits. The lesson plans and instructions are all free and open and the parts are open hardware components. My passion areas include thinking of ways to conserve the planet we live on, useful technology and providing equal access to education. To that end I’m in the process of pairing environmental technology and STEM education.
