I am a Founding Partner and the CEO of Bongo Tech & Research Labs (formally STICLab), the first Tanzanian Makerspace based in Dar es Salaam.

I am part of the OpenFlexure Microscope and the developer of a sangaBoard motor controller that powers the microscopes robotic stage.

With a background in Computer Engineering and Renewable Energy Development, I am passionate about leveraging technology in development to effect systemic and sustainable change and keen into supporting and utilizing Open Science and Hardware – OSH, am a critical thinker, a problem solver and an innovator (Social, Engineering and Technology) looking for new challenges in all aspects of life.
