Sophie is a pioneer Digital Rights Advocate fighting against the internet shutdown in Africa as a result of experiencing two unprecedented internet outages in the Northwest and South West Regions of Cameroon in 2017, becoming more engaged in advocating for internet rights and spending time engaging government officials and stakeholders resolve internet connectivity issues.

Sophie founded the Center for Youth Education and Economic Development (CYEED), where she champions ICT capacity building for youth, digital literacy, mentorship programs, and advocacy campaigns to encourage girls to pursue STEM careers.

Sophie founded ANASTA Hub, a Peacebuilding Makerspace dedicated to promoting #PeaceTech through digital skills, social innovation, dialogue, community-based education, and collaboration at the service of the common good.
