I am a lecturer at the University of Aberdeen who works on the development of a new imaging hardware called a fast field-cycling scanner. It is like MRI but in fact, it is not.
I am also an open-source enthousiast who would like to explore how this licensing method can be adapted to clinical hardware and change the way these things are usually commercialised.
Open-source principles, and community-based methods in general, have an increadible potential to change the world for the better. So let’s make this happen.
