Open source calendar platforms/alternatives to google calendar that work for you?

Wondering if anyone can share alternatives to google calendar that work for a team. I currently use Nextcloud with a team as a whole open source groupware alternative, but I’ve often found it inconsistent in sending out calendar invites and have had issues scheduling across timezones. Basic stuff that needs to work I know there’s probably a lot of technical details that go into calendar servers and clients, but if anyone has high level information or pointers for things that hav…
