Here @jarancio mentioned Zotero.
I’d like to add that Zotero can sync it’s libraries to Nextcloud through WebDAV.
I missed the meeting on Zotero, and I’m also biased because I use it a lot, but I think its great software.
It would be a nice interaction to try.
