Hi! Here at CTA there wasn’t direct results from GOSH, only indirect and immeasurable results.

To start, it influenced me to express science through art, I wrote the Tale of the Science of Tomorrow. It was my first contact to art-science. Which was replicated at the Arduino Day 2017 (in Porto Alegre).

At GOSH I met people, groups and institutions that inspired me, Leonardo (who also attend to GOSH) and Jan Luc to star the EITCHA, an educational initiative to seed technological emancipation. We will teach programming, electronics, talk about open science, open hardware, citizen science, Internet surveillance, and so on. In short, will teach kids on how to be hackers (the translation of our acronym stands for “Itinerant School of Hacker Citizen Technology”) . We won an grant to start EITCHA, but we can’t announce yet.

Another indirect result is that we were selected to a residence promoted by RedBull to develop open source technology to solve city problems. Is definitely connect to GOSH since it gave us a more global view of which are and how to solve some of the cities problems, as well as the fact that we attended to GOSH give us prestige. Of the 5 projects selected, 2 were from CTA. A Meteorological Station and a Micro-aerogeneretor.

GOSH was mentioned on our medias, on our news , and in most of the events we’ve organize (about 15).
